No Waffle – Yes or No

Short version: No Waffle does not collect, send or share any personal data. Everything you type stays on your iPhone.
Who we are
No Waffle is developed by Richard Zoltan Toth, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom (“we”, “us”). Contact: hello@richardzoltantoth.com.
What the app stores
The questions you type and the answers given (yes, no or abstained, with the time it took) are saved only on your device, inside the app's private storage. This data is never transmitted to us or to anyone else. Your settings (answer time, sounds, haptics) are stored on your device in the same way.
You can delete individual answers by swiping them away in History, delete everything with History → Clear history, or remove all data by deleting the app.
What the app does not do
- No account or sign-in.
- No analytics, tracking or advertising.
- No server of our own – purchases are handled by Apple.
- No third-party SDKs.
- No access to your contacts, location, microphone, camera or photos.
- No network requests – the iPhone app works fully offline.
The web version
The browser version at nowaffle.app/app works the same way: your questions, answers and settings are saved only in your browser's local storage on your device and are never sent to us. It uses no cookies, analytics or trackers. You can delete the data with History → Clear history or by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Like any website, our hosting provider Cloudflare processes technical connection data (such as your IP address) to deliver the pages securely. We don't use it to identify or track you.
Purchases
No Waffle offers optional one-time supporter purchases (PRO, MAX, ULTRA, PRESTIGE). They are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your name, payment details or Apple Account information. The app checks which supporter tiers you own on your device using Apple's StoreKit; no purchase data is sent to us or to anyone else.
Sharing
If you tap Share result or Share summary, the app opens your device's standard share sheet (or copies a short text in the browser). Nothing is sent unless you choose where to send it, and that transfer is handled by the app you pick.
Backups
If you use iCloud Backup or a computer backup, iOS may include the app's local data in your device backup. That backup is controlled by you and Apple, not by us.
Children
The app does not collect personal data from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Because we do not receive or hold any of your personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. If you have any question about privacy, or your rights under UK GDPR or EU GDPR, email us at the address above.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
